At work yesterday we were all busy getting ready for Gustav and Hanna. I suppose today will be more of the same. Those little wind bags, they can really mess with an operation. Let’s all hope they don’t cause anymore damage and just go away. But I’m sure Debbie wouldn’t mind a little water in her area. Hee. As you can I see I’ve found a new widget and updated my sidebar. I’m sort of widget crazed now that I know how to upload them.

In other news Lore may have a lead on a job! Yeah. She was head hunted. Maybe the Good Wish blog entry paid off.

This morning I was typing away when I felt something sticky on the keyboard. I looked and my pinky was resting in a little pile of tooth paste. I can’t figure out how the toothpaste got there-must have snuck on my pinky after brushing teeth but I would think I would have felt it. Anyway I had somewhat of a mess because I’d been typing in toothpaste for awhile before I noticed it. I ended up cleaning it with Q tips and I’m sure I looked like a crime scene investigator as I carefully swabbed between the A S W and SHIFT keys. It’s still sticky. 

I don’t think I’m carpooling today. I think my car buddies might be getting out early for the holiday. I know I won’t. My department really can’t do that because we are somewhat operational. So I don’t want to hold them up like I did last time when they could leave early. Ooops. But I’m looking forward to the weekend and I hope you are too. Happy Labor Day everyone.
