Anyway, I usually spend quite a bit of time decorating for Halloween: buying bags & bags of unusual candy (most of the time from World Market), deciding on an outfit to wear when I answer the door, scary-sounding music played out the windows, dressing up the dogs in their little outfits, carved pumpkins with candles, torches out by the street, green lights all over the porch, etc. (Halloween is my favorite holiday). But… this year for some reason, I’m just not into it. I don’t know if it was the break during the middle of October with a trip that we took to New Hampshire, or I just have too much else to do, or this blasted election is getting to me, OR WHAT??!!! I just don’t know…

]]>several guys on our cul-de-sac are MAJOR holiday nuts and the yards are all done up (there’s even a fog machine). We will end up out on the block most of the evening (we being the dh and the boys–I’ll be watching GH!)
