The Universe
Yesterday was a wonderful day. BFF got a job offer after being unemployed for a year. It had been very tough year for her. The job interviews were few and far between. Postings were then pulled because companies were downsizing. It looked bleak, bleak, bleak. Then yesterday not only did she get one job offer, she got two, plus two head hunters called. WTF people? Don’t get me wrong I’m very happy for her and grateful. The job offer that she really wanted came 30 minutes before the offer that she would have settled for. Talk about the mysteries of the universe. I swear there is a higher power at work here people and we just have to have faith. Faith will get us through anything. And I also believe the universe has a path all laid out for us and you just have to have faith that the universe knows best. Moral of the story, listen closely to what the universe is telling you and know the universe isn’t going shout it either, but rather whisper in your ear.

It’s because it’s (a) after the holidays and (b) the recession. Companies take the downturn of the economy to cull the bad out of the herd. That paves the way for all the good people out there looking for work - and apparenlty finding it! So congrats to your friend for becoming suddenly in demand.

PS Sorry I’ve been AWOL - the company has decided to check my internet usage lately and so I have to stay off during the day. Communists.
