Getting Closer To The Weekend
When I got up this morning I let the puppy dog out for his business then made coffee. From almost the moment his paws came back in the house the skies opened up and we got about a half an inch of rain. That was a close call since Mr. B. and wet weather do not get along. <g>
I nearly fell out of my chair last when Adam ended up in the bottom three on American Idol. I had to make a few quick calls to have friends talk me down. You can’t have the Adam Idol show without Adam! Thank goodness he was saved and next week I’m voting for sure. It’s going to be Rock night. Oh my gosh! He could do Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin easily. I was preoccupied Tuesday so I didn’t vote and I bet that was other people’s excuses too. I should know better.
And what about this Swine flu business? They’ve closed all the schools around here through next week. I guess we’re just going to have to look on the bright side-less traffic this week and next. <g>

Haven’t gotten hooked on Idol but if there is a good song by your fav, Adam, post it on here. Loved the one that you posted about 3 weeks ago. I watched it the week after, but really didn’t at all like the song interpetation that he did so maybe that’s what kept me from getting hooked…

I keep thinking that the university is going to close at some point. With as many people as Paul comes into contact with on a daily basis, I can see that stuff being brought home.
The weekend is going to be full here: Tomorrow is early voting for the Boerne mayor’s position. Don’t give a hoot (or even a mini-hoot) about either candidate but voting basically buys me the right to bitch about it, so I will vote. Will come down to which one I detest less, much like the last Prez race. Then this weekend there is the annual Antique Show in Comfort, always a good one. Will probably go on Saturday as opposed to Sunday. There is also Cornyval in Helotes (about 30 min from here). Although it is also an annual event, I’ve never been to that. Everything has the theme of corn.
