I got in some well needed pool time yesterday. It was a beautiful day-80 degrees, blue sky, and big white puffy clouds. I miss seeing that back home. There’s so much development the sky is a grayish blue instead of bright blue. There were nice chatty people at the pool too. One woman was getting in swim before heading back to Michigan and others were catching up on all the latest gossip around town. I was lounging in my floatie enjoying eavesdropping. Afterwards I went home, showered, dressed and went out to dinner with my folks. I had an Alfredo and mushroom pizza that I love at this restaurant close by. But a couple of hours later my tummy was rebelling so I had to go home and sleep it off. It’s been a long time since I’ve had Alfredo and I guess my body wasn’t ready for heavy Italian sauces.

The bunny appeared in the front yard this morning and I was already to take a picture. But upon closer examination I realized it wasn’t the same bunny I’ve been seeing. Me thinks we have a rabbit problem.

I’m bummed that I’m missing my chapter’s writer luncheon today but I’m glad I’m here too so it’s all good. My aunt and cousin will be coming into town later on today and I’m looking forward to seeing them. It’s been a few years.
