<description>Glad you're back to blogging!! I always like your updates, and now I feel back in the loop again! I sent you a few replies to some emails that you sent several weeks (or even a month ago) but didn't hear back from you so maybe they got lost or buried in your email box...? Anyway, I was SO GLAD to hear that your mother is on the mend!!! Moms and Dads are irreplaceable... love them to death while you have them.

Let's see... what's going on here...? My memory is short so probably anything I write about will be fairly recently. Maybe as recently as even today! Today I am going to pick up the Tootie Pie that I won by adding a shameless bid for a free pie on their FaceBook site! I guess they liked the direct approach... HAHA!! Tootie Pies are high-end pies (especially the apple pie with 6 lbs of apples in it!) and are sold to Neiman-Marcus, Central Market, and a few other places. It'a a local business right here in Boerne so I don't have to go too far to pick it up! There are 12 flavors... I picked the BLACKBERRY! They want to take a picture of me and publish it on their website so I promised them I'd leave my t-shirt with the Tiger Woods joke in the closet... hehe. That might be the BIG news lately...

Sherry (across the street) is having one of those birthdays that end in a 0 in April so there are 3 of us going to throw her a surprise party. 2 of the 3 have a big-budget shindig in mind. One of us (un-named) is basically on a 0-budget. Ok, what the hell... I am the 0-budget anchor in the cog. The way it's going, we'll probably have a live band, sit-down dinner, and paper plates!!

Paul started back to work again for the new semester. Seems to really like his new group of kids, actually I guess at the university-level, they would be "young adults." One of the student's father is a missionary and is one of the missing in Haiti. He was in one of the large, well-known hotels at the time &#38; no word at this point of his status so keep him in your prayers.

Can't think of any other news. HELLO to Jackie and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Lore and Cherie!!!

XOXOXOXOXOX
